NaNoWriMo 2011

You may have done it before, you may have won it before. Are you doing NaNoWriMo this month? For those who are unaware, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. The goal? To write a 50,000 word novel in the 30 days of November. I’ve attempted it twice, finishing it in 2004 and stopping on day 6 in 2006. I’m trying it again this year, although not exactly as the rules state. You see, you’re supposed to start a brand new project, but I really want to jump start the novel that I’ve been working on for a while, so I’ll be doing that.

Dear AT Nanites, I would like to invite you to join me in the NaNo festivities. We can link to your blog or site, we can commiserate with each other, we can give writing prompts…you name it! There might even be prizes.

So write on, fellow Nanites, and I’ll see you back here again. Please comment and tell us about your project. If you haven’t decided to start, this is only day two, and I’m already behind it’s never too late to start!
