Looking for Reviewers/Reviewees
Probably not everyone has looked at every piece of content on our site, or even read all the pages in the drop down menus, so something that may have escaped your notice is that we do reviews in addition to posting great fiction, poetry and nonfiction.
You can check out the official Abandoned Towers Book Review Policy and see what it’s all about. In fact, many of you have checked out our official review policy and we now have a nice queue of material to review. This means several things:
- You’ll start to see reviews pop up on the site soon
- We’ll start giving away copies of the stuff we’ve reviewed (more free stuff!)
- We expect that the number of review requests will continue to increase
- We’re recruiting additional reviewers so that we’ll be able to keep up with the demand
So if you’ve reviewed the policy and have something you’d like us to review, reach out to reviews@abandonedtowers.com. Likewise, if you’re interested in joining our stable of reviewers, get in touch the same way.
The goal here is not to duplicate something like Goodreads, but rather to provide another avenue for authors to get exposure to a receptive audience. That audience in turn will be given an opportunity to win a copy of the reviewed material, and be pointed at places where they can purchase it should they desire to do so. Or they can of course see if it’s available at their local library, and if not, request it.
