Jess Hyslop is a young British writer with a particular passion for fantasy and science fiction. In 2010, she won Cambridge University’s Quiller-Couch prize for creative writing with her short story ‘Augury’, which is now available through Shortfire Press. Her fiction has also appeared in Bewildering Stories and Cast of Wonders, and is forthcoming in Doctor Fantastique Books’s steampunk Shakespeare anthology, The Omnibus of Doctor Bill Shakes and the Magnificent Ionic Pentatetrameter. She is currently at work on a novel.
