Nymph
Nymph
The scent of ocean breeze in me
yet another young man lost to the sea
as I watch from inbounds
from my isolated sandy-white isle.
A frayed, revealing long-flowing white dress
against my breasts and my craving flesh
I tried to shoo the sharks away
as they stole what was mine.
Alone again, my face sank, pressed down
by the weight of solitude resumed.
I turned and sauntered along the shore
looking out to the sea for the next shipwreck.
Licking my old, swollen gums, I waited—
for my next lover.
